Bengal Leather Complex Ltd. (BLC) was established in 1982 with a comprehensive plan to produce Crust and Finished leather from excellent quality local raw hides. BLC since its commencement has aimed towards a vision to achieve Total Quality Control in leather manufacturing through control of raw material, technology, processing equipment and chemicals.

Today the company has grown to one of the largest tanner & exporter of crust and finished leather from Bangladesh to its worldwide market of Asia, Europe and both the American Continents. It has two separate tannery units. One for processing raw hide and the other for making crust and finished leather. Both the units are equipped with the state of The Art Leather Machinery which have been merged from the vision of matching B.L.C. with the current and future trend of quality in the international markets.

To retain the quality up to the mark of international standard and for further up gradation of quality, B.L.C. has build up a highly qualified and skilled work force of 500 personnel. Also, Bengal Leather Complex (BLC) has maintained close cooperation with its European buyers, enabling the company to continuously upgrade its technology and products to meet international market standards. BLC’s manufacturing practices incorporate the latest European leather processing machinery and chemicals.

Since beginning its export operations in 1982, BLC has consistently met the needs of a highly demanding clientele across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Today, BLC achieves an annual export volume exceeding 14 million square feet.
